Here is a list of 10 of the most popular Instagram photography hashtags that photographers use in Preview.
Tip: You can also use Preview to schedule your Instagram posts (photos, videos, carousels, Reels, IGTVs, and Instagram Stories). You can plan your posts and find hashtags on the phone app and on the computer version if you prefer to work on your computer.
1. Photographers hashtags
The first hashtag group you can use no matter what your niche is, is the “Photographer” hashtag group.
This hashtag group compiles the most popular hashtags photographers use to unite, share their passion and potentially get featured on other people’s accounts that specialize in photography.
2. Portrait photography hashtags
If you take portrait photos, check the “Portrait” hashtag group.
You can use only the hashtags from the “Portrait” hashtag group. Or you can mix hashtags from the “Portrait” and “Photographer” hashtag groups.
Another strategy is to use different hashtags on different posts. The Instagram algorithm seems to like this strategy because it makes your account look more human and less spammy. So feel free to mix and match different hashtags from these groups.
3. Street photography hashtags
The street photography community on Instagram is amazing. They have created many hashtags to connect with each other and get featured on accounts specifically for street photographers.
